Zhekai Liu

I am a first-year Ph.D. student at the Department of SEEM, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, advised by Prof. Anthony Man-Cho So. My research interest is mathematical optimization. Previously, I completed my B.S. at Jilin University, China, majoring in Applied Mathematics. I ranked 1st in the Strengthening Basic Disciplines Plan, Experimental Class.

I was very fortunate to be advised by Prof. Warren Hare during the MITACS Globalink Research Internship (GRI) at the University of British Columbia in the summer of 2025.
